Are The Buffalo Sabres Getting Back on Track?
The Buffalo Sabres have been trying to get their game together, but injuries may be holding them back from reaching their true potential. More importantly, individual players need to be stepping up their game, if the Sabres have any chance of scoring.
It’s not a good sign when you have the best players injured. Jochen Hecht needs to be playing in the game more, because I believe he has something to offer.
I remember going to a Sabres game many years ago in Buffalo and having a great time. As soon as the Sabres got on the ice there was a fight. I was sitting up in the nose bleed section and when I stood up I felt like I was going to fall to my death. Those were the good old days of the Memorial Auditorium, now it’s called the HSBC Area.
The most exciting part of the Sabres game back then was when a hockey puck was slapped above the glass and hit a spectator. I’ve never seen a hockey puck hit another person before, until this game. I quickly realized that my lousy nose bleed seats were probably safer for me.
There is nothing better then a couple of beers, bad seating, screaming fans, fights and a good Sabres game!
